Inspired by the look of classic Italian stilettos, the Kershaw Launch 8 modernizes this traditional design for a new generation of knife enthusiasts. The Kershaw Launch 8 features the sleek, symmetrical lines of a stiletto in a push-button knife that’s lightweight—only 2.4 ounces—and easy-to-carry. The blade is CPM 154 with a stonewashed finish. The slim blade is sharpened on one side, and it has a deep top grind to lighten weight and add stiletto style.
The handle is gray anodized aluminum with a handsome carbon fiber insert. To maintain the Launch 8’s symmetrical look, the pivot is sunk deep in the handle and covered by the insert. Integrated finger-guards on both top and bottom of the handle keep fingers away from danger. I’d bought two other Kershaw Launch models and returned them. However, I thought I’d try the Launch 8 and I’m glad I did. This one is the right size, weight and design. Couldn’t be happier with everything about it…get it!

Kershaw Launch #8
I absolutely luv the U.S. Kershaw Launch #8 and #12CA. These American Made Kershaw's fire hard and fast. The Blades are made out of CPM 154. And, have beautiful blade grinds. I just wish the #8 version had a thicker blade stock; it has a very delicate blade tip... :-) Peace, Stiletto :-)

Good Knife
I have had one of these for over a year and just ordered my second one. The reason I got a second one is I was afraid they would stop making them. It's well made in the USA. It's light, fast and sharp. Good knife and easy keeper.
