A Detective Billy Rosewood knife...
From Beverly Hills Cop 2 in the "Breaking into the Gun Club" scene. Axel Foley breaks his pocket knife in the desk drawer so Detective Billy Rosewood whips out a large switchblade and hands it to him. This is the closest thing to that knife. This is a really nice China-made switchblade but there's no "China" anywhere on it but "ITALY" is etched on the ricasso and I like it that way. The product photos do not do it justice. It's very well made, solid, super mirror polished with a black swirl handle in a world of dull, brushed, black coated "tactical" knives. It's like mens' jewelry. The swing guard is the most useful, most practical and tactical of all classic switchblades. If the spring breaks, it's still a very strong lockback and will still work. The swing guard is substantial enough to prevent your hand from sliding over the blade but it folds neatly out of the way, and the fire button is a simple button, not a fidgety leverletto that you might fumble in a stressful situation. Very tight, zero blade play and it opens strongly. Blade is about 1/8" thick.

Good, sturdy knife
The reviews are correct. I bought this one because of them and couldn’t be happier. It’s stout and quick. Solid knife for the price. Ten times better than the trash they sell at flea markets. I will be buying more knives from Perry in the very near future.

Milano swing gaurd stiletto
To date I have purchased 3 of these knives, 1 for me (white handle ) and 2 black handles for gifts. These are awesome, they bring back memories of the early 70s going to Mexico to get them. I think they are well made , the blade pops really good. A really cool knife, and for the price you can't beat it. Definitely a thumbs up.

Like it
Even though this is an Asian copy, it is well made and works fine. The swinguards are better fitted than any of the Italian knives I own, about 20
