Terrible Lockup
I bought this knife a couple weeks ago, saw the price and jumped on it. Figured at worst, I would get something of Benchmade or other ~$50-100 quality, but perhaps something much better. Pros: Blade was very sharp, good even grind, knife feels good in hand. Flipping action is good. Good traction on the scales. Cons: Lockup is wrong, it started with major lock-stick, I put some sharpie on it and that helped some, a good flick with the thumb studs and you are stuck really good. Good news is a little wiggle of the blade and you have blade play up and down and side to side. Timing is 90-100%, it started around 40% and 2 weeks we are at pretty much the whole blade. Flipper is a bit sharp (not overly awful but it could be used to etch the paint on your annoying neighbors car) Anecdotal: Handle is thick which some might like. I have big hands and it feels really nice in hand. It is overall a good sized knife, but a bit on the heavy side. If the lockup was good on the knife, I would give it a 4, but I just don’t trust the lock.
