Great knife even better price
I bought a Lightning D/A OTF knife for myself a year or so ago when I needed an inexpensive knife for work that I could quickly open with one hand. I work in industrial demolition and we are notoriously rough on Tools. So, I wasnt looking for an expensive show piece, but at the same time needed something that would hold up to the rigors of daily use. This knife has served me extremely well. The frame is machined from strong and durable aluminum while the blade is forged from a good quality tool steel. After putting this knife through the paces 5 days a week for over a year I'm convinced I made the right choice. It definitely punches above it's weight class when it comes to price. With minimal care and maintenance (sharpening and occasional oiling of the internals) this knife has proven to be a reliable everyday knife for me. In fact I like it so much I purchased one for each of my sons who are both in the constructon trades themselves. If you're in the market for a durable, reliable knife that doesn't break the bank, you can't go wrong with a Lightning Elite.
