An elegant weapon for a more civilized age…
Excellent quality for a China made knock-off switchblade. It looks better than the low res photos provided. "ITALY" is the only thing written on it and I don’t mind being fooled. Well made & heavy with a mirror polish on the blade and bolsters plus the pearl scales are really attractive; I call it a pimp knife :-). I chose this one over sku ITS9ROPRL because it has a bottom bolster or pommel for more strength. Swing guard automatics are very sensible due to the substantial guard that protects your hand and also folds flat for convenience. If the spring breaks, it will still work as a manual lock-back and the lock-back is stronger than traditional bolster lock stilettos. The fire button is very prominent and more positive to activate than a fidgety lever lock. Delighted with the blood groove on the blade, it looks somewhat like a Bowie blade. It is true that the swing guard is a little loose and may rattle, but it has to in order to pivot over the top bolster. It fires hard and fast with a unique sound. Locks up tight with zero blade play. Five stars for what it is and for exceeding expectations.

Normally don't buy China stuff but this is nice knife for the money, seems very well made.
