I am a US Marine spoiled by the venerated K-Bar. Self defense knives have always needed to be straight and fixed for to feel confident in it. However, I was recently introduced to a martial arts instructor who got me interested in the karambit. His reasoning was sound and I couldn't argue with the premises, but the folding blade concept still bothered me. It was around this time that he showed me his Quartermaster knife. When locked into place, this blade does NOT budge. I was very impressed with the construction and quality of this knife and I got my own. This is a no frills self defense knife and it is extremely sharp (as any knife that stands between harm and my family should be), but I personally think it looks fantastic as well.
Bottom line: This is a rigid, well constructed knife that I would recommend to anyone interested in self defense weaponry.
Thank you for making an excellent product.

Had a few question after my order. Got a response within a few hours. Couldn't have had a easier time purchasing my first knife from Perrys knife works. I will be ordering from here again.
