  1. Hess Hunter happy 5 Star Review

Posted by on 5th Jan 2018

I’m very happy with the Hess Hunter. The Buckeye Burl version that I purchased recently is a classy rendition with its figured grain structure and color. Hess does a great job selecting their woods. I own a leather version as well and had to get the Buckeye Burl when I saw it. The size of this knife is about perfect for me as a deer dresser and processor, 1095 GEC steel has me sold and the Marble’s connection in both design and manufacturer is special. The Hunter is one of my very favorites. I am glad I looked at Perry Knifeworks because they had this particular knife in the older red spacer material which I like the most, thin multiple spacers that seem to glow. The newer Hess knives are of a different material. Thank you PKW for great service.
